As 2025 is well under way, we thought we would take a look back at the fantastic year we had at Notaro Care Homes in 2024!
Throughout 2024 we celebrated lots of staff milestones, marking the dedication and commitment of our incredible team that keep our care homes running. From one-year to eight-year anniversaries, we value the input of each and every member of staff.
Our homes hosted a variety of celebrations through the year, including the Olympics, 80th Anniversary of D-Day, Halloween, Bonfire Night, Remembrance Day and more! The team managed to make each of these events unique for residents, engaging them in the celebrations.
The residents took part in a variety of days out in the local area, including visits to café’s, a carnival, picnics in the summer and everything in between! Back at the care homes, our staff also put on an array of activities, such as baking, soup making, pumpkin carving and more.
We are particularly proud of our charity bake sale in October for Macmillan Cancer Support, which saw residents, staff and members of the community channel their inner Mary Berry and contribute to our bake sale! We raised over £120 for an incredibly worthy cause.
Another key milestone in our year was our ‘Leaf a message’ campaign, encouraging members of our community to write a message on a paper leaf and send it in. The campaign was designed to highlight the importance of gratitude and appreciation, enabling the Notaro community to share their love and support.
The campaign received over 300 responses, including memories, advice, thoughts on life, and praise for the Notaro Care Group and its staff. These responses came from care home staff, families of its residents, pupils from local schools and members of the community, and we are incredibly grateful for all of the heartfelt responses!
To top it all off, we celebrated four 100th birthdays in our homes this year, a truly significant milestone that we were proud to witness so many times!
Thank you to all that contributed to the success of Notaro Care Homes over the past year, and we hope to further our efforts into 2025 and continue to deliver high-quality care services.
